My Journey
When I was young I always loved to create new things, so naturally in school I took all the ARTs classes but the biggest one that stuck with me I would have to say was Wood Shop. I just loved letting my creativity flow into all the different projects I made along the way of learning how to do woodworking, as I grew up I was always the "nerdy" type I like to read and get lost in all the fantasy adventures so naturally when introduced to dungeons and dragons in my late teens it hooked me right from the start. As I grew into adulthood I began pursuing a career into the retail field but something always just didn't sit right, I always would get pulled towards the electronics and other gaming things, "nerdy" things, so much that sometimes I would get distracted talking to customers about all the games and such I would lose track of time. In all that I had also lost my opportunities to let my creative juices flow into creating new things, So I thought to myself why not combine all these things I love into my NEW career and start my own business, but not just any business a woodworking/lasering business of all things nerdy. So here we are I decided to take the plunge into self teaching myself lasering and CNC routering and refreshing myself on some of those long lost woodworking skills and I now can present to you Hall of Hobbies, Where nerdy meets crafty in hopes to elevate everyone's gaming experience whether it be D&D, TCGs, or even just some awesome decor to let your nerdiness shine bright.
